Need a New form of exercise that is fun and helps with the body and mind? Come join us line dancing! Line dancing is not difficult once you know the basics. Each dance is the same steps in a different order to different music.
Do you know how and haven't been on the dance floor lately? Come join us! This class is made for folks who have done some dancing and are familiar with basic steps such as: grape vine, shuffle, kick ball change, jazz box, lock steps, weaves, and other goodies. We are a group of 15-25 (depending on the time of year) mostly female dancers age 60s-80s. We dance to all kinds of music, country, oldies, and some new stuff. We do boot scootin' stuff, contemporary stuff, as well as waltzes and occasional tango! Line dancing is good for your body and your mind. We need to keep the brain cells as active as the muscles! Think of it as doing a puzzle, math, memory games and sweating! You can't burn calories doing crosswords and sudoko! Come on in!
Drop in program. This is a co-ed class for adults. Fee is per person, per day.
