Recreation Department Refund Policy


Refunds will be issued automatically as a credit on the household account.  Refunds will be issued by check if a request is made with the Recreation Director only.  Refunds by check may take up to three weeks to process. The Town of Hampden does not provide cash refunds. Refunds are mailed to the address listed under the household account information on your hampdenrecreation.com account. Please be certain to keep your household account information current.

100% will be refunded if Hampden Recreation cancels a program or activity.  A 5% processing fee will be assessed and deducted from the amount eligible for refund for all cancellation requests made through the first full week of programming, unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be issued after the first week of programming.  Any individual dismissed from a program is not entitled to any refunds.  Refunds are not issued due to participants not knowing the start date of the program.
