In this class, through the sounds of 7 crystal chakra singing bowls, an ocean drum, wind instruments, chimes including other instruments and the voice, we will create courage and strength to move into 2024 with true intentions.

Sound meditation is a very therapeutic form of meditation as the tones and frequencies help to entrain the brainwaves into the more relaxed alpha & deeply rejuvenating theta brainwaves states, as well as, assist the re-attunement of the energetic body.

What to bring: a yoga mat, blankets, bolsters, eye pillow, and/or anything else you would like to be comfortable for lying down during the sound bath.

About the Instructor, Andrea White

Andrea started her exercise/health journey in the fall of 2013 teaching a variety of Zumba class formats in the greater Bangor area. Over the last 9 years she took many group fitness workshops and certifications including Aquatics, Seniors, Kids and Personal Training. She became interested in the healing process of Yoga and finished her 500 hours over the last 2 years. She is a registered 500 hour Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance. She has recently finished her Reiki 2 and is looking into expanding in that field. Andrea has a passion in helping others to get active and stay active. Her classes are fun, welcoming and focused on functional movements that participants can use in their daily life .It’s all about creating a healthy lifestyle!



What is a Sound Bath?
  • Sensory Immersion: Participants are enveloped in various sounds and vibrations created by instruments.
  • Relaxation and Stress Reduction: The therapeutic sounds have the potential to induce deep relaxation, helping to alleviate stress and tension.
  • Mindfulness Practice: Participants are encouraged to focus on the present moment, using the sounds as a point of concentration.

Health Information
Sound Healing of any kind can be very powerful, we want to ensure the safety of everyone. Here are possible contraindications and folks should receive clearance from their medical professional prior to the event:

People with epilepsy – particularly sound-induced epilepsy
Pregnant women in the first trimester (12 weeks) of pregnancy
People with a history of severe depression, psychosis, and other serious mental health challenges
