Children 6 and under must have an adult in the water within arms distance, even if they are wearing a life jacket.  Host is responsible to ensure there are enough parents in the water with children 6 and under.

 Saturday rental times 
2:00 - 4:00                2:00 - 3:00 in the pool and 3:00 - 4:00 in the lounge
5:30 - 7:30               5:30 - 6:30 in the pool and 6:30 - 7:30 in the lounge
Total number of participants will be limited to 30 people including spectators
Cost: Hampden Residents $156        Non Hampden Residents $200

Guidelines for pool rentals
  • All children 6 and under must have an adult in the water to supervise. One adult may supervise up to 3 children staying within arms distance of all children.
  • CANCELLATIONS must be made 15 days prior to the rental date to receive a full refund. All cancellations or rescheduled rentals after the 15 day notice will forfeit 1/2 the total fee. To cancel call or email the pool 862-4305 lurahoitpool@hampdenmaine.gov
  • During winter months, inclement weather could cause the pool to close. The Lura Hoit Pool will refund your total payment if we close the facility due to weather. If you choose to cancel and the pool remains open you forfeit 1/2 the total fee even if you reschedule.
  • If you cancel a rental and are due a refund you will receive a check in the mail from the town of Hampden. Refunds could take 2 - 3 weeks. A credit to your credit card can be made if cancelation is within 30 days of booking the rental.
  • No diving rings or toys from home
  • No mermaid tails
  • No pinatas
  • No confetti
  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on all town property.
  • No shoes on the pool deck.
  • The lifeguard will blow the whistle at the end of the scheduled pool rental time.
  • You will be let inside the facility 15 minutes prior to the start of the rental.
  • When no other activity is scheduled after your rental, the locker rooms will close 15 minutes after the rental time is up.
  • For children wishing to use the deep end slide, all swim testing will be done at the beginning of the rental.
